Genesis Nava was 11 years old when she came back to the America’s Got Talent stage. She said she loves singing even more than she loves One Direction, which for an 11-year-old is saying a lot.
This time felt very different. At her first audition her dad played alongside her, but now she had to perform alone, so she promised to do her best and imagine he was right there with her. 💛
The judges asked how she felt, and Genesis admitted she was kind of nervous. They told her to catch her breath, and then she launched into a sassy song with a strong, confident voice. 🎤
The crowd cheered her on, and the judges told her that doing well without her dad did not mean either of them was not good, it meant they were both good.
