Micky is 36, from Leeds, and works as a part-time primary school teacher. He walked onto the Britain’s Got Talent stage with his guitar and opened with a comedy number called the Absolutely Amazing Song, about traveling around Europe.
His first lines, about going off to Paris in a Yaris, already had the audience laughing. Then he stopped and told the judges he had suffered a loss recently and needed to get something off his chest. The room went quiet. 😢
He began a sad ballad about someone he could not believe was gone, saying they had done nothing wrong. Then the details started coming out, a checkout lady, a price of almost 10 pence and handles that never let him down. 😂
It turned out Micky was mourning his lost bag for life. The judges and the audience burst out laughing as the tribute got sillier with every line.
