Anna Christine was 10 years old and from Henderson, Nevada, when she came to America’s Got Talent. Backstage, she admitted she felt shaky and overwhelmed, and said her piano is the place she goes whenever she feels sad or worried.
She sat down at the piano and sang “House of the Rising Sun.” Her voice was deep, powerful and full of feeling, nothing like what anyone expected to hear from a girl her age. 🎶
The whole audience rose to its feet. One judge said they might have just found a superstar, another said she had a depth in her voice that nobody can teach, and another said it sounded like 30 years of experience.
Anna walked away with four huge yeses and a hug from her mom. The nervous girl from backstage left the stage as one of the most talked about singers of the night. ❤️
