Unbelievably, there are positive uses for the internet.
Consider Kelli Tarin. She went to Facebook for assistance after realizing she could have a pest problem. Thousands of comments were left for the mother of three, from people who wanted to be informed about her circumstances to those who wished to offer assistance.
She eventually discovered the solution, but not before letting out a loud laugh.
See what the enigmatic pile was by continuing to read.
Tarin asked for assistance from other members of the Homemaking Tips Facebook group in August 2023.
After moving into a rental home in west Texas with her family, she had a problem that kept her calling the landlord and any pest control business she could think of.
Does anyone have any idea what this might be? Two mounds of these have been discovered by me. In my daughter’s room only. Almost every day, I clean it. She added, “This is something that happened QUICK,” and included a picture of a pile of what appeared to be “coffee grounds.”
Many people tried to remedy her situation after seeing her message, which attracted a lot of attention.
One proposed, “Put a camera up and see how it’s getting there.”
“To be quite honest, I’m not sure, but if there are little “flying ants,” they’re probably termites. Someone person said, “I had them in my first house as a ‘adult,’ and they would pop up and I’d vacuum them, and then they’d pop right back up.”

In the meantime, someone else merely said it was “rat poop.”
Tarin revised her initial post as suggestions kept coming in.
She said that she would not be allowing her kid to sleep in her bedroom for the time being.
Yesterday, we made two calls to pest control businesses. They both literally stated that they had never seen something like this before. “Ever,” she wrote. They claimed that if it ended, the droppings or whatever was left behind would be very different. The residue is genuinely crispy. Seed-like, almost. It’s really peculiar.
Tarin rationally explained why it wasn’t any of the potential pests, which included mice, roaches, and bats, as she went over the list. She realized the mounds of brown bits were not mouse droppings, even though she did find mice as the culprit “believable.”
She had her landlord and pest control come out to her property, but she didn’t start to think more carefully about it until she read a remark on her Facebook post.

“I read [sic] a comment that indicated this was inside the kids’ lavender bear that broke open. As expected, there was a purple blush [sic] bear in the pile of toys I picked up from here.
Tarin thought the bear was “infested,” so he grabbed it up and flung it away right away.
Curiosity then overcame her, and she gave the animal another glance. There was a hole in the stuffed animal.
“These beads were inside when I poured out the contents! I’ve been laughing for thirty minutes. Just picture how relieved I am.
Oh my god. This story is quite the roller coaster!
