Father charged with murder after wife gives birth to twins

For a young couple, nothing is more wonderful than welcoming a kid they have been anticipating for months. From the outside, this young couple didn’t appear to be any different.

They already had one child and were expecting twins. Nobody thought the parents weren’t ecstatic. However, the father did something unimaginable when he was left alone with the baby. To find out about his horrible deeds, continue reading.

In an interview with the media, Savannah Bliss revealed that her newborn boy had been hurt while in his father’s custody. Savannah claims that while she was visiting Gunner’s twin sister in the WakeMed NICU, her husband was looking after young Gunner and their elder one-year-old child.

Gunner and his twin, Madelyn, were both born prematurely at 34 weeks, according to the mother. When Gunner was hurt, the infants had not yet been discharged from the hospital.

Noah Benjamin Bliss, 22, of Harnett County, was taken into custody at WakeMed in Raleigh. He was accused of killing his 3-week-old baby, Gunner Bliss, in the first degree. In addition, he was charged with child abuse and causing the infant to suffer severe physical harm as a result of the October 6 event this year.

Savannah Bliss declared, “I want justice for my son.” While I was caring for his sister in the intensive care unit, I trusted my husband to monitor Gunner. He was the best baby and the kindest guy with the most gorgeous blue eyes. It is terrible that he was stolen so soon.

The WakeMed’s Heart Center Inn was the family’s temporary residence. For family whose loved ones are receiving care downstairs in the hospital, the facility resembles a hotel.

Nursing staff said that Gunner’s injuries suggested that his father had shaken him violently, according to his mother Savannah Bliss.

Savannah Bliss was informed by the staff that although Gunner had no visible wounds or fractures, the baby had experienced head trauma, including brain hemorrhage and swelling that deprives him of oxygen.

The newborn was removed from life support on Monday evening.

On Tuesday, Noah Bliss appeared in court and was given a jail sentence without bond. He is expected to appear in court again next month.

Savannah, meanwhile, is still attempting to put together what transpired. “He seemed happy … like a proud father,” the young mother stated, adding, “I never thought this would have happened.” I had faith in him since he was his father and cherished his children.

Savannah said, “I just want justice for my son.” “He wasn’t guilty.”

It’s quite regrettable that this has occurred. As Savannah deals with this devastating loss, we are sending her our best wishes and prayers.
