Dylan, a 12-year-old Londoner who has been a self-described singer since childhood, entered the Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) stage with a kind and modest manner. He told the judges that he would use the prize money to visit Disneyland in America and save money for future albums, demonstrating his desire despite his extreme fear.
The judges were instantly impressed by his ambition to invest in his own future at such a young age, and they urged him to overcome his fear and pursue it.
Dylan decided to sing Beyoncé’s famous and extremely difficult song “Listen” during his performance. For a little lad, it was a huge decision, but the theater was astounded by his surprisingly adult voice as soon as he started. Dylan’s voice tone and perfect technique were well beyond his years. He delivered the song’s emotional impact flawlessly, singing with assurance and poise. His reputation as a bashful youngster was dramatically changed by the magnitude of his gift, which made him a formidable vocal force.
The caliber of his voice left the judges “awestruck.” His amazing tone and “off the scale” technique for a 12-year-old were both lauded by Alesha Dixon. Amanda Holden called his performance “flawless” and said he was a “gorgeous, unassuming, humble person” who “completely knocked it out of the park.” Despite acknowledging the legendary song’s difficulty, Simon Cowell praised Dylan’s self-assurance and drive. Acknowledging his evident talent and potential, Dylan was able to get a unanimous four “yeses,” enabling him to proceed with his quest toward Disneyland and future records.
