Every time their dog and three-month-old infant fell asleep in the same crib, the parents were moved. However, one day, they opened the door to the nursery and were appalled by what they discovered 
As they saw their dog and infant get closer every day, the parents couldn’t help but smile.
The dog appeared to understand that someone had arrived who required protection more than anyone else from the day they brought their newborn home from the hospital. He would approach the crib with caution, lay his head on the edge, and observe the infant sleeping in silence.
They developed a genuine friendship over time. Every time the dog licked his little hand or wagged his tail, the baby would giggle, and the dog, seemingly feeling responsible, was at his side all the time.
The baby would only settle down when the dog was there, the parents soon discovered. In the evening, they would sleep cuddled together in the same crib after spending almost the whole day together playing and crawling on the carpet.
The parents couldn’t stop grinning at this adorable sight and frequently took films of them. They saw it as an unadulterated friendship, full of trust and affection. Their dog seems to have developed into a real guardian and second nanny.
However, everything changed one night. The parents chose to peek in to see how their tiny ones were doing after hearing the gentle sound of breathing coming from the nursery as normal. They froze in terror when they opened the door 
The mother’s heart fell when they entered; the infant was still, his lips were blue, his respiration was hardly audible, and his skin had red spots on it.
Unaware of the situation, the dog nervously rubbed the infant with his nose in an attempt to wake him.
While the mother held her kid close and prayed for him to breathe again, the father, in a panic, contacted an ambulance. The physicians showed up in a matter of minutes.
They started offering medical assistance right away, and after assessing the infant, they broke the bad news to the parents: the youngster had experienced a severe allergic response to the dog’s fur. He might have died if he had been delayed for a few more minutes.
It destroyed the parents. They were shocked to learn that the person they had considered to be their closest and most devoted friend had inadvertently contributed to this catastrophe. As though sensing that he was going to be taken away, the dog sat at the door and whined softly.
They had to give the dog to the husband’s parents, where he had a big yard to run in, which was a painful but necessary decision.
Even the purest love between a child and an animal can occasionally turn dangerous, the parents found.
