The young businessman chose to leave work early today in order to spend the remaining time with his family. But he was profoundly stunned by what he saw when he got there.
Luxury and order reigned supreme at his massive mansion, which was situated in the heart of the city. He had grown a technological company into a multimillion-dollar success at the age of just thirty.
Even as he slept, he made money from his business, but his wife, whom he had been married to for three years, was the most important member of his family.
He chose to go home to surprise his mother and wife after finishing work earlier than normal today. He rushed home after purchasing flowers from a store.
But as soon as he stepped inside, he sensed a problem. There was nobody there, and the whole living room was a mess. Screams and a commotion suddenly erupted from one of the rooms. He hurried over to see what was going on 
He opened the door to find his disabled mother and his wife bickering. His wife had thrown his mother to the ground because the dispute had gotten so heated. The millionaire froze, and everyone was stunned by what he did next.
Anxiety causing his heart to pound, Leonard stood in the doorway. His mother was on the ground, attempting to protect herself, and Alessandra was furious and prepared to attack once more.
However, something inside of him changed at that moment: he became angry, horrified, and confused.
He stepped up and spoke in a very composed tone:
— What are you doing, Alessandra?
The woman came to a sudden stop, her lips quivering and her eyes wide open. Leonard felt the quake slowly go away as he turned, helped his mother stand, and gave her a hug. Alessandra had an odd look on her face that he saw was a mix of shame and terror.
She mumbled, but her words sounded hollow: “I didn’t mean.”
Abruptly, a courier carrying a parcel came into the room. When Leonard opened it, he found a videotape his mother had made for such occasions.
On the screen, Alessandra was shown covertly organizing a sinister plan for a whole month in which he attempted to coerce his mother into signing real estate papers and taking money out of the business.
Leonard saw that his world was collapsing. Taking a deep breath, he walked silently over to Alessandra. When their gazes locked, she recognized that he suddenly had complete control over all decisions.
After divorcing his wife, he came to the straightforward realization that she had always valued his money more than him.
