Every time guests arrived, the mother locked her 3-year-old boy in his room, but one day she opened the door and let out a horrified scream
When company arrived, she always locked her kid in the room. Even though he was only three, the mother didn’t want to take any chances because the youngster had once unintentionally spilled juice on a friend’s pricey shoes, and she had decided that the child had only “ruined the impression” ever since.
She grinned and informed her visitors that her young son was either in daycare or at his grandmother’s. However, she gave her son stern instructions to be quiet. The young child sat by himself, holding fast to his old teddy bear. “I’m here… mommy…,” he mumbled occasionally, but no one responded. He was hoping that she would open the door and give him a hug, but that never happened.
It was always that way. The mother opened the door as though nothing had happened after the guests departed.
However, everything changed one day. The mother opened the door after another visit and let out a terrified scream upon realizing what had transpired
There were a lot of guests that night. The next room was filled with loud shouts and laughter. Once more, the boy was imprisoned. He had a thirst.
There was a bright-capped plastic bottle on the shelf. He believed it to be juice, similar to the type his mother occasionally gave him. Grabbing it with his small hands, he removed the cap and gulped a few large gulps.
After several minutes, he had a scorching sensation in his throat, as though a fire had burst within him. His face went white, he began to cough, and he collapsed on the ground, clutching his teddy bear.
As usual, the mother opened the door after the guests had finally left. Instead, she observed her son’s lips becoming blue and his breaths coming in shallow gasps. There was an empty bottle of cleaning solution next to him.
The neighbors ran to the door when the woman shouted so loudly. The infant was saved, but he had barely avoided death, thanks to the timely arrival of doctors.
That was not the end of the story. Child protective services was notified of the occurrence by the doctors. The mother lost her parental rights once the boy was taken from her.
She experienced a terrible blow, but what was worse was learning that her own child had been lonely and had yearned for a mother’s affection.
