This man had multiple procedures and paid $80,000 to change into a dragon. He was a financial advisor until he was forty years old, had a son, and a family, but one day he made the decision to make a change in his life. He began with 79 body piercings before getting scale-like tattoos all over his face and torso. In addition, he had implants put in his forehead and split his tongue
One of the most well-known names in the realm of radical body alterations is Richard Hernandez, better known as Tiamat Legion Medusa.
His profession was steady and he had worked in banking, but he always felt that his life wasn’t really his own. Hernandez had wanted to change since he was a little boy, but he put it off for a long time because of social expectations and work obligations.
After the age of forty, the pivotal moment occurred. At that point, he made the decision to fully commit to changes after realizing he no longer wanted to conceal who he really was.
“Before I began living my actual weird life, I was past 40. I already had 79 piercings at that point, the most of which were concealed,” Medusa acknowledges.
From that point on, a slow transformation into a “dragon man” started. He had horn implants put on his forehead, split his tongue to mimic a snake’s, and got tattoos of reptilian scale patterns on his face and body.
He even removed his ears and got the whites of his eyes tattooed later. He was getting closer to the picture he had always imagined with every new change.
Medusa has no intention of ceasing the surgeries, which have cost him almost $80,000 in all. He views it as a philosophy and a means of self-expression in addition to being eccentric.
He feels that the exterior should be a reflection of the inner world, which for him is a world of strength, freedom, and mythological animals.
Tiamat now frequently shares his tale at public gatherings and on social media.
