A young girl married a wealthy 60-year-old sheikh, but she had no idea that their wedding night would bring about a dreadful event.
Being raised in a low-income household, the 19-year-old girl had to fight for her life every day. As a student, her primary desire was to one day get out of poverty and begin living “like normal people.”
She had a chance meeting at a banquet where she unintentionally attracted the attention of a wealthy sheikh who was already over sixty. She saw this encounter as an opportunity to transform her life, while he was enthralled by her youth and attractiveness.
The girl, enamored with the sheikh’s money, accepted his proposal without any hesitation. She was attracted to the prospect of securing her future and putting debt and hunger behind her, even though she was fully aware that she had no love for the elderly guy. A young, attractive woman by his side appeared to be a testament to his wealth and power, making this marriage more of a status symbol for the sheikh.
Unprecedented extravagance was used to celebrate the wedding. The palace was illuminated, with golden drapes and hundreds of white roses adorning the halls. Only the wealthiest and most esteemed visitors, including politicians, businesspeople, and members of aristocratic families, were seated at the long tables.
Exotic fruits, unusual fish, and the best wines were arranged on the tables. The air was filled with laughing, music, and toasts; it all appeared like a fairy tale. The girl, wearing an opulent gown, felt as though she was in someone else’s dream: she had been counting every penny just a short while ago, and now she was surrounded by a level of luxury she could never have dreamed of.
However, a horrible occurrence occurred on the first wedding night. People hurried inside the bridal chamber after hearing the bride scream and witnessed it.
The bride and groom retired to their rooms as the wedding came to a conclusion and the guests started to depart. The girl, worn out by her bulky outfit, went to change in the restroom.
She couldn’t stop thinking about how her life had altered in a matter of weeks. However, she would never forget the scene she saw when she went back to the bedroom: the sheikh was lying on the floor, pallid and immobile.
Because of how loudly she yelled, guards and servants hurried into the apartment. Doctors were called and chaos ensued, but their judgment was harsh and brief: his heart had failed. On his wedding night, the affluent sheikh had passed away.
As a result, the girl’s life transformed twice in a matter of hours: she went from being a poor student to becoming the wife of one of the wealthiest men and then his heiress.
However, the enormous wealth was accompanied by strong suspicions. For a long time, people whispered behind her back that she was the cause of her husband’s passing.
Her existence now consists of a mix of prosperity and the enduring shadow of doubt, luxury and loneliness.
