I have two dogs at home, and I adore animals in general. One of them is quite noisy and active, and they spend much of their time in the garden. My neighbors occasionally gripe about his barking, claiming it keeps them from sleeping.
Even anonymous letters from people who were upset about my dog’s barking began to arrive. He still occasionally goes outside, but since these letters increased in frequency, I made the decision to keep him indoors for a bit.
I was unable to figure out why my dog was acting abnormally until I observed it one day. When I took him to the veterinarian, I was astonished by what I found. I never thought my dog could be subjected to such cruelty.
I took my dog to the veterinarian because I was so concerned about him.
The veterinarian found that my dog’s stomach contained roughly thirty screws.
Luckily, we discovered it in time.
The veterinarian said things would have been lot worse if the screws had made it to the intestines.
We managed to save our dog and avert the worst.
The police started an inquiry after I told them, but they haven’t been able to identify the offender.
I’ve increased my vigilance and made sure my dogs are safe ever since that event.
I’m glad that my puppy is safe today, but this event made me realize how cruel some people can be to animals.
