Janette Manrara of BBC Strictly Come Dancing dismisses the social media jab and adds, “I miss her.”
After her most recent post, Janette Manrara ignored a social media remark and instead published an honest message about missing her kid.
The professional dancer and presenter joined the cast of the musical Chicago earlier this year and is presently traveling. In March, Janette made her theatrical debut as the legendary Roxie Hart.
Back in January, it was announced that Janette would be assuming a significant new role. Since then, she has been praised for her performance at theaters around the nation.
Along with enjoying her time touring the UK and Ireland with the performance, the Strictly Come Dancing actress shared a series of pictures with her co-stars on Instagram last week, writing: “I had a great time letting my hair down last night!
What a fantastic evening spent with the actors of @chicagoonstage as they celebrated @_ellyshaw’s birthday! We had a great time dancing! Really adore this group!
Janette recently shared on social media how she takes care of herself while traveling, beginning with her daily ritual.
The single mother, who has a daughter named Lyra Rose with her spouse Aljaz Skorjanec, posted a video to Instagram with the caption, “Wake up w/ me! Funny! On the way, a normal morning for me. Self-care, making the bed, and the value of vitamins! Let’s get started:
1) I always make my bed first thing in the morning. This little thing actually helps you establish a routine for a more successful day. 2) @newnordic_uk is still where I get my collagen shots.
3) My regular skin care regimen (I’ll make a different video for that). 4) I’ve been massaging my thighs with the retinol resculpting body lotion from @muradskincareuk, and WOW! I adore it!

However, one of Janette’s fans didn’t seem impressed, leaving the following comment: “I always air my beds with an open window first, and I didn’t need to know all that.” was trying to find Lyra.
But Janette didn’t take offense and wrote back in her typical sweet manner: “My mornings with Lyra are VERY different! [emoji for sobbing and laughing]. They’re my favorites, though [love emoji]. When I get back home with her, I’ll upload a video of that. I really miss her while I’m abroad.
However, another fan was quick to offer encouragement, replying, “You are a superstar.” It is a blessing that you are Lyra’s mother.
