Even though earwigs are generally harmless, I still don’t want to come into contact with them in or around my house. Earwigs appear to have become more prevalent this year; I’ve never seen so many of them in the garden. This easy yet useful tip can be useful if you’re noticed that earwigs seem to be hanging around your home or outside areas.
Alicia Alexander, a Facebook user, shared how she filled a small basin with roughly half a cup of olive oil to get rid of a large number of earwigs in her backyard. After that, just set the bowl on your deck or in your garden outside. This is the number of earwigs in the dish after less than a day:
