Playground craze leaves 11-year-old boy “looking like an alien”

All of us make stupid mistakes while we’re young. After all, knowing when to turn down something that seems risky is an essential aspect of growing up.

Because children are susceptible to peer pressure and other comparable forces, even the most intelligent kids can be coerced and convinced to engage in pranks that carry the possibility of catastrophic consequences.

Ask the parents of 11-year-old Tyler Broome, who played with the “roundabout of death” YouTube trend and sustained severe injuries.

Yes, the name pretty much says it all, but for Tyler, it was more of a means to show his friends how brave he was than a risky practical joke.

The 11-year-old was then subjected to extraordinarily high gravitational force (G-force) and sustained injuries akin to those seen in fighter pilots.

He participated in the “roundabout of death” craze, which involves people sitting in the middle of a playground roundabout as a motorcycle’s back wheel rapidly turns it.

Tyler was found unconscious near the roundabout shortly after the incident, probably suffering from vision and brain damage. According to reports, he felt G-forces, which are normally reserved for pilots and astronauts.

According to reports, three older children approached Tyler and a friend in a neighboring park and challenged them to a game.

“I don’t recognize my kid; he’s about to have a stroke.” The boy who approached Tyler, who was sitting on the roundabout, was around 17. According to his mother Dawn, Tyler doesn’t know him and they are not buddies.

He spins the roundabout at a high pace after putting his motorcycle on the ground. The group simply dispersed after they all stopped; this is bullying.

Dawn claimed that because the hospital personnel had never seen such injuries, they had to do research before they could begin treating her child.

He resembled the Elephant Man due to the severity of his injuries. They will use it to create a medical report because they have never seen it before.

His eyes are strange, his skull has swelled up completely, and his blood vessels have burst. His vision is hazy. A broken arm is manageable, but this? He doesn’t recall the specifics of the event.

As parents, please keep in mind that kids are likely to try things that adults would avoid.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Tyler the child and his family. Tell this story to bring attention to a very dangerous game.
