Watson And Radcliffe Spurn J.K. Rowling’s Stand On Transgenders And She Will Never Forgive Them.

Many people have gained notoriety as a result of Harry Potter, giving them the ability to influence public opinion online. This includes the series’ creator, J.K. Rowling, and the actors who starred in the movies, such as Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe.

Rowling has recently expressed her opinions toward the transgender community in a very direct manner. She also shared a link to a comparable story not long ago, indicating that she thinks some parts of the discussion ridiculous.

When Rowling published an article titled “Opinion: Creating a more equal post-COVID-19 world for people who menstruate,” it seemed as though she was making fun of the trans community.

“People who menstruate,” she added as a footnote. I’m almost certain that those people had a term once. Could someone please remind me? Wumben? Wimpund? Woomud?

The online community swiftly responded, with Radcliffe and Watson both voicing their support for the transgender community.

More specifically, Radcliffe apologized to the LGBTQ+ community for any “pain” that might have been caused.

“I, along with many others around the world, see, respect, and love them for who they are,” Watson, who has a sizable following of trans people, said.

Rowling’s controversy-sparking has previously had a negative effect on the trans community. She described doctor Dr. Hilary Cass’ findings as “the most robust review of the medical evidence for transitioning children that’s ever been conducted” in a post on X.

According to the findings, “children have been irreparably harmed,” Rowling subsequently said. “It’s not just medical professionals who are involved,” she added, adding that thousands of others are complicit, including opportunistic corporations, uncritical media, and celebrity advocates.

One user wrote: “I’m just waiting for Dan and Emma to publicly apologize to you,” in response to her post. assured that you will pardon them.

Many were taken aback by Rally’s response. “That’s not a guarantee, I’m afraid,” she said. Celebrities who supported the transitioning of children and allied themselves with a movement that undermined women’s fought-for rights have to apologize to the vulnerable women who rely on single-sex places and the devastated detransitioners.

It will be interesting to watch what happens next.
