The Ruby Red Performers are not your average Britain’s Got Talent dancing ensemble. They are from the little town of Withernsea and are made up of 12 women between the ages of 25 and 64. They didn’t have a great start to their audition; Simon Cowell buzzed them early because they made an unimpressive introduction dance and looked like washerwomen. But as it happened, his response was a little too quick.
Soon after, the women started a much spicier performance after suddenly removing their washerwoman outfits to expose silky nightgowns. Playfully removing more layers on stage, their performance heated up to the lively beat of BodyRockers’ “I Like the Way You Move.” When the dance took an unexpected turn, the audience, who had not been impressed at first, cheered. It was a spectacular and memorable climax, with the women proudly wearing British flag tassels while down to their underpants by the end of their daring dance.
