As the old house was being taken down, workers found a hundred-year-old chest hidden under the floor. They took it out in front of the camera…Check out the comments for the whole story…
The chest was definitely more than one hundred years old. The last people who lived there probably didn’t hide it because no changes were made to the area. A winch and ropes were used to try to move the box, but it was too heavy. The castle was so rusty that a mill had to be used to smooth it out. The hinges were then cut off because they wouldn’t open. Under the lid, the builders found nicely folded silver ingots instead of old trash. The owner was naturally called to the scene, and he called the inspector.
The find was worth 15 million rubles just because of how heavy it was. The owner of the prize is likely to get more money for the ingots because they are important to history. Finding a silver gem is a lucky break that not everyone gets. The owner of the house at least paid for the purchase.
