For good reason, Pierce Brosnan and Keely Shaye Smith are among the most popular celebrity couples.
Every photo we’ve seen of them together since they started dating in 1994 shows how much they support and care for one another.
Pierce’s sweet birthday greeting for Keely, which he shared on Instagram yesterday (September 26), is another example of how they’ve carried on that tradition.
For my brown-eyed girl’s 60th birthday, I’m sending her sixty flowers. Being seated there when you came around the corner early one morning in Cabo San Lucas @keelyshayebrosnan made me eternally happy and blessed,” he added.
Pierce initially met Keely in Mexico in 1994, following the untimely death of his first wife, Cassandra Harris, in 1991.
They have two sons together, Dylan and Paris, and were married in 2001 at Ballintubber Abbey in Ireland.
Last month, the pair celebrated their 22nd anniversary. In June, Pierce posted a lovely photo of the couple, taken by Dominic Cooper, a well-known friend and co-star of Mamma Mia!, with a poetic remark.
“Stars emerge from the heavens, the firmament splits the primordial water, the moon rises, night descends…confined to the home ward,” he wrote
In honor of the James Bond star’s 70th birthday, Keely and the rest of Pierce’s family posted their own heartfelt birthday greetings earlier this year.
