Elvis Presley’s ”grandson” takes the stage and stuns audiences

Although many have attempted to emulate Elvis Presley, nothing quite measures up to the real thing. Is that possible?

The judges of The Voice were moved to tears the moment Dakota Striplin took the stage and started singing the ageless hit Love Me Tender.

But it was more than simply his voice that took them aback. Dakota gave a shocking revelation following his performance that almost caused the judges to topple over in their chairs.

A captivating young man made his appearance on The Voice Australia a few years ago. When Dakota Striplin, 24, sang Elvis Presley’s 1956 song “Love Me Tender,” he stole the show. It was striking how much he resembled the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. Dakota possessed the same haircut, the iconic performer’s jawline, and, most importantly, a golden voice that evoked recollections of the late great.
His eyebrows and nose even matched Elvis’s features. Dakota enthralled the crowd with his silky, honeyed voice throughout the performance. He also displayed his guitar prowess, which gave his performance an emotive edge. It was understandable that the audience exploded in cheers when they realized they were seeing Elvis Presley’s grandson perform live on stage.

The judges were just as impressed. Two of them had already turned their seats and pressed their buttons before Dakota had finished the first lyric. Guy Sebastian, the third judge, was about to push his button but decided against it at the last minute. He would later regret this decision.

However, what about the Elvis Presley connection? The resemblance between Dakota and Elvis is evident when comparing side-by-side pictures. And when Dakota disclosed that he might be the King’s grandson after all, the mystery grew even more.

“Elvis has always been my favorite. I’ve looked up to him greatly since I was a young child. However, my dad recently learned that my grandma and he have a long history, and that his father was not his real father. Dakota revealed, “She worked at Elvis concerts before and seemed to know him.
While Elvis impersonators do occasionally surface, it’s uncommon for them to be more than merely eerily similar in appearance. Benjamin, the only grandchild Elvis had, was an exact replica of the King.
Nevertheless, Dakota Striplin showed off his extraordinary talent, and Elvis would have loved his performance of the timeless hit from the 1950s, regardless of any family ties. Later, Dakota performed a number of additional songs, including an upbeat rendition of The Lion King’s I Just Can’t Wait To Be King, demonstrating his versatility.
