The well-known musician disclosed that over the years, an astonishing amount of bodily parts have been removed from him.
After disclosing how many organs he has had removed over the years, Elton John made light of the fact that there is “not much” of him left.
The legendary musician talked candidly about his health issues at the premiere of a brand-new documentary about him.
As he prepares to perform in his final show at Dodger Stadium, the 77-year-old singer looks back on his 50-year career in the movie Elton John: Never Too Late.
The actor joked with the crowd during the movie’s introduction, reflecting on his own health: “To be honest with you, there’s not much of me left.”
He said, alluding to the “Ship of Theseus” cliche in which the ship has so many replacement parts that it is no longer the original ship: “I don’t have an appendix, tonsils, or adenoids.”
“My prostate is not present. I’m missing my left knee, right knee, and right hip. Actually, my left hip is all that’s left of me.
The singer went on, “But I remain here.” And you are the ones who made me, for which I am eternally grateful.

Over the years, John has had numerous health issues, including hip and knee replacement surgery.
The celebrity said last month that he was recuperating from a “severe eye infection,” which was so terrible it was impairing his vision.
He also had a pacemaker installed in the 1990s to aid with an erratic heartbeat.
John was admitted to the hospital in 2009 due to a bacterial illness and influenza. In 2013, an abscess on his appendix was discovered, and in 2016, he experienced a bout of “gastric flu.”
John’s health was also affected by years of touring.

The most notable effect of this has been on his hearing because of the prolonged exposure to loud noise.
John declared, “As you know, I decided to stop touring because I’m 77 years of age,” when he recently revealed that he would be retiring from performing.
“I’ve played as hard as I possibly can. I’ve been successful. I’ve gone there and completed the task.
