If You’ve Noticed A Blue Line Painted On The Street, Here’s What It Means

Any motorist will tell you that it’s important to pay attention to road markers.

Ignoring these indicators is very dangerous and could be fatal.

In the coming weeks, drivers in some regions of the United States may be able to see a new road marking. It is a thin blue line that is placed between the two yellow center lines on the road.

It turns out that the blue line that appears on Maryland’s roads is actually the names of police heroes painted there.

This is an extra safety measure because the line ends at the police station.

Still, it’s admirable that it expresses gratitude for the daily sacrifices made by police personnel.

Ocean City, Maryland, mayor Rick Sheehan is thrilled that these blue lines have been added to the city’s highways. He is aware that these police officers are essential to his lovely beach village.

These officers keep the rowdy youths who come for parties and the old retirees who live there in control.

Now, between the existing yellow road divider lines on 65th Street in Ocean City, this line goes directly to the headquarters of the Ocean City Police Department.

If additional towns around the country agreed to paint blue lines after seeing this, that would be fantastic.

Considering how frequently police officers are neglected and undervalued these days, this is a great chance to show our appreciation and support.
