Due to her ongoing health issues, well-known singer Céline Dion has announced that she is postponing her entire forthcoming world tour.
She posted on Twitter, “I’m so sorry to disappoint all of you again.”
Fans of Celine Dion were first given cause for concern when the chart-topping star revealed that she had been diagnosed with an uncommon neurological condition last year.
Dion revealed that she had a “one in a million” ailment known as stiff-person syndrome, a degenerative nervous system disorder affecting the brain and spinal cord that can produce excruciating spasms and impair mobility, in an emotional video that she shared with fans on Instagram. While there is no cure for the illness, its symptoms can be managed.
Many of Dion’s admirers are aware of her problems with muscle spasms, which resulted in the cancellation of her January tour dates in North America.
Sadly, it appears that Dion’s health problems are still present, since she has announced that her next 42-date tour has been canceled.
The well-known musician said on social media that the choice has crushed her.
“I apologize sincerely for disappointing you all once more. therefore it’s best if we postpone everything until I’m truly ready to return to the stage, despite the fact that it kills my heart. I won’t give up. and I’m forward to see you once more!” said she.
Since making that declaration, Dion has not made many public appearances, but her sister Claudette has given updates on her health and expressed confidence.
Claudette told the Le Journal de Montréal, “I am confident that life will give her back what she gave because she is an extremely intelligent woman, so very generous and talented and in love with life as well.”
“I try to send her positive vibes in the hopes that one day she will go back on stage, instead of crying over her fate.”
About a month has passed since Dion debuted a new song, according to her most recent health report. She unveiled the official lyric video for her latest single, “Love Again,” which serves as the theme song for the May 12 premiere of the same-titled movie, in April.
On the soundtrack of the movie, Dion sings six of her previous hits, including “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now,” in addition to five new songs.
More than 200 million records have been sold globally by Celine Dion. “The Power of Love,” “Because You Loved Me,” “It’s All Coming back to Me Now,” and the Titanic theme song “My Heart Will Go On” are some of her hit singles. Her two platinum-selling albums, Falling into You and Let’s Talk About Love, rank among the best-selling albums ever.
Five Grammy Awards have been given to her, including Album and Record of the Year. The highest-grossing residency in music history is her previous Las Vegas performance series.
