Conductor stops train, gets out to save turtle stuck on train tracks

Animals can find themselves stranded in undesirable areas and require some assistance from humans to get to safety.

Thus, it always warms my heart to witness folks going above and beyond to assist a creature in need. That happened recently when a guy stopped a train to try to save the life of a turtle.

Turkish streetcar driver Serhat Topal works there. While traveling his usual path, he saw an unusual object on the tracks: a turtle.

Serhat said to The Dodo, “It was a turtle trying to cross the tracks toward the countryside, but he was stuck.” “I believe he was afraid.”

Subsequently, Serhat took an uncommon action: he halted the train, exited, and made a special effort to assist the turtle.

He hoisted the animal over the fence to safety, preventing it from being ran over by any approaching trains on the tracks.

After crossing, the turtle appeared to be in good health, according to Serhat, and it cheerfully went away.

Although it was the proper thing to do, everyone who has taken a rail ride knows that sometimes people don’t like unexpected delays.

However, because Turkish people are well-known for their compassion for stray animals, they appreciated Serhat’s explanation of the event when he said that the driver was “happy because I helped.”

Serhat said to The Dodo, “All living things are our friends, and we should approach them with love.” “This should be everyone’s responsibility. I’ve just fulfilled my obligation.
