Homeless Man Asks What He Can Buy With $0.50 At Burger King, Employee’s Response Stuns Everyone

Michelle Resendez posted a touching tale on Facebook about her son’s deed of kindness while working at Burger King, which led to a wonderful tip from a customer.

One evening while Matthew Resendez was working, a homeless man entered the store with fifty cents and asked what he might buy. With empathy, Matthew enquired as to what he would get if money were no object. It would be anything, the man said.

Then, using his debit card, Matthew ordered the man a substantial dinner. After giving the man the receipt, he urged him to unwind.

Observing the conversation, a woman gave Matthew a $100 tip in appreciation for his generosity and commended the business. “So proud to be his mom and I can pat myself on the back knowing that I’ve played a part in raising this big-hearted young man,” Michelle Resendez wrote, expressing her pride in her son.

More than 147,000 people liked and shared the post, with many complimenting Matthew for his generosity. “So nice and so kind of him, you raised a beautiful person,” said one individual. Amazing story, as stated by another writer. Thank you, Matt, for acting morally.
