This house looked like it was about to fall into itself until one family stepped in

Built over 130 years ago, the mansion had stood empty for many years until they bought it. Amazing what they accomplished with that! This is how it looks at the moment.

Built in 1887, this house seemed as like it would collapse at any time, making it dangerous to enter. When residents Jim and Jean Leaman joined the picture, everything changed, yet they still didn’t hesitate to buy this large wreck. After seeing the house’s condition degrade over time, the retired couple fell in love with its historic architecture and made the decision to purchase it.

After five years of day-in, day-out labor, they were able to turn the ruin into a beautiful refuge that we can all call home.

The transformation is really astounding! However, wait till you see inside.

This was the first appearance of the home.

However, this is how it looked once it was restored.

Inside, you won’t be able to breathe. It appears to have been lifted from a Harry Potter movie.

The flooring is composed of five different types of wood, and a rainbow of hues is visible through the stained glass panels.

Each of the five second-floor bedrooms has a distinct and inviting design.

But this little area in the attic would be perfect for a workstation.

Considering how it seemed and what he said it was, it’s hard to accept.

Even though it took a lot of work, money, and time, he was eventually able to transform the ruin into a cozy home.
